The Circle recognized for sustainability

The Circle is the largest Minergie and LEED Platinum certified building in Switzerland.

The Circle at Zurich Airport was certified for its sustainability. Therefore, both the Minergie and LEED Platinum certificates were presented during an event.

From the very beginning of the project phase, in 2008, the aspiration to be certified for sustainability was established. And now, 12 years later, two important sustainability labels have been received.

Stefan Feldmann, Head of The Circle Flughafen Zürich AG, commented:

«We are proud to hold both the Minergie and LEED Platinum certificates in our hands. Such certification processes require a long-term sustainability strategy and good cooperation with our planners. We are pleased to be able to meet this requirement.»

The handover of the two certificates took place in the Circle.
